The things tutors
usually ask

Who is the training for?
Anyone tutoring, or planning to tutor, in the UK. It suits people new to tutoring who have strong subject knowledge but no teaching background, as well as experienced tutors who want to sharpen their practice and refresh their safeguarding.
How long does the programme take?
Around 10 to 15 hours of training in total, usually spread over 3 to 4 weeks. It is paced so you can complete it alongside work or study rather than in one intense block.
How is it delivered?
Fully virtual. You work through the core modules online and join live Zoom sessions where trainers teach, answer questions, and give feedback on your teaching in real time.
Do I need prior teaching experience?
No. The programme starts from the foundations of one to one teaching, so you do not need a teaching qualification or classroom experience. What matters is solid knowledge of your subject and a willingness to learn the method.
What does the safeguarding course cover?
It covers recognising when a student may be at risk, your responsibilities as a tutor, how to report a concern correctly, and how to keep online sessions safe. It is a dedicated course, not a single slide at the end of another module.
What actually happens in the live Zoom sessions?
They are working sessions, not lectures. You practise elements of tutoring, ask questions about real situations, and receive direct feedback from trainers before you sit in front of a student.
Can my training be verified?
Yes. Completion can be confirmed through our verification team, so an agency or family can check that you have finished the programme. Email Verification@sucampus.ac.pk for confirmation.
How do I enrol?
Email the admissions team at Admissions@sucampus.ac.pk to register your interest. They will confirm the next available cohort and the live session dates, then set up your access.
